PROFESSIONAL BIOGRAPHY
Emily’s introduction to music began at only 4 years old when she started learning the piano and picked up the horn at age 9. She studied under Ysolt Clark and Peter Luff in Queensland before moving to Melbourne in 2017 to further her studies with Ben Jacks and Saul Lewis at the Australian National Academy of Music.
Emily has performed the Queensland, West Australian and New Zealand Symphony Orchestras, as well as Orchestra Victoria and was Australian World Orchestra’s 2019 Academy Player for Horn. She has also played in side-by-side projects with the Tasmanian and Australian Chamber Orchestras and is currently a Fellow with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra.
