PROFESSIONAL BIOGRAPHY
Emily Beauchamp is currently in her third year at the Australian National Academy of Music (ANAM), training with Dr Robin Wilson, after completing a Bachelor of Music Performance at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music with Janet Davies in 2018. Previously, she was a music scholar at Ravenswood School for Girls, graduating in 2014. 

Emily was a member of the Sydney Youth Orchestras for 10 years where she was Concertmaster of the Flagship Orchestra in 2016 and 2017. She has also been a member of the Australian Youth Orchestra since 2014, touring Europe and China in 2016 and 2019. Aside from performing, Emily is also a passionate music educator, both as a private violin teacher as well as orchestral tutor at the NSW Public Schools Arts Unit, at events such as State Music Camp, Schools Spectacular and the 2018 UK/Ireland Tour. Emily also regularly performs with the Willoughby Symphony Orchestra, AYO’s Momentum Ensemble and the Melbourne Chamber Orchestra, and is a also core member of Ensemble Apex.

Emily has a great love of chamber music and has travelled to Italy, Germany, Austria and the UK to study with pedagogues such as Eberhard Feltz, Johannes Meissl and Tobias Lea. Emily has enjoyed coachings with members of Quatuor Ébène, and, the Dover, Takács and Borodin String Quartets, as well as masterclasses with Ray Chen, Midori Gotō, Karen Gomyo, Isabelle van Keulen and Anthony Marwood.
